According to The Hollywood Reporter, Kevin Bacon is in talks to play the eponymous Dick in the Amazon pilot I Love Dick, based on the 1997 novel of the same name by Chris Kraus. The show is described as a “sex comedy” that comes from Transparent creator Jill Soloway, and it will tell the story of a married couple that has a “mutual obsession” with Bacon’s Dick, “an off-putting but charismatic college professor” who is also a “sexy silver fox” and a “cowboy intellectual.”
