Watch two guys play a bunch of Slayer songs on children’s instruments

While metal is often known for being a genre based on technically proficient rage, recently it’s been a place for the introduction of childlike wonder. Last year father-daughter grindcore band Sockweb released its debut album, cashing in on all the attention little Joanie Young was paid after she screamed her affection for fluffy breakfast foods. The folks at Pasquale Guitar Company have taken this ethos a step further, proving that you don’t need a doom rig to be in a metal band, and that enterprising young heshers can get by with instruments from Toys-R-Us. As they stitch together pieces of Slayer songs they prove that thrash metal can still be evil, even if the blast beats come courtesy of a tiny pink drum kit.
