Bundle up ladies, you won’t be Hot In Cleveland much longer

Here’s what’s up in the world of TV for Wednesday, June 3. All times are Eastern.
Top pick
Hot In Cleveland (TV Land, 10 p.m): Hot In Cleveland is (almost) dead. Long live Hot In Cleveland. Let’s take a look at what’s going on in the one-hour series finale (“Vegas Baby” followed by “I Hate Goodbyes”): “Joy and Bob put their Paris wedding plans on hold when they learn a baby is available for adoption in Las Vegas, so the whole gang, including Bob’s dad and Mamie, tags along for a trip to Sin City, where Victoria is reunited with Johnny Revere.” Needs more “Johnny Revere.” With the series finale of Hot In Cleveland, so goes any and all hotness in Cleveland. All that will remain is are the memories of that truly bizarre—really, if you haven’t seen it, you should—animated 100th episode. In his For Our Consideration piece (10 a.m.), Noel Murray bids farewell to the sitcom with a discussion of what it meant for TV Land as a network and brand.

WWE NXT (WWE Network, 8 p.m.)
Elsewhere in TV Club
Do you like TV but wish there were more superlatives involved? Of course you do—you’re reading The A.V. Club. Well, we’ve compiled our own TV Club Awards for the 2014-2015 season, and it all starts with dramas and reality shows. So go read that.
TV Club Classic
Lost (Classic) (1 p.m.): This week, Myles McNutt and Noel Murray take on “Greatest Hits,” the penultimate episode of the season (and a Charlie episode!). Such a fitting title.
What else is on?
Melissa & Joey (ABC Family, 8 p.m.): ABC Family may have said au revoir for now to the age-challenged and food-deprived last week, but it’s not like the network’s Wednesday night spot will be empty. The hole will be filled with the fourth season summer premiere of Melissa & Joey (and the beginning of its final 10 episodes). Pause for live-studio audience applause. Perhaps because of the absence of that which is immature and starving, the episode title is “Call Of Duty,” which we hear is a popular electronics game for those who fit under the previously mentioned umbrella. (The other show we were talking about was Young & Hungry.)
The Briefcase (CBS, 8 p.m.): Let’s see what the Scott and Musolinos have to offer… “The Scott family and the Musolino family are each presented with $101,000 and must decide if they should keep it or share the wealth.” Well that’s every episode, just interchanged with different family names. What’s the back story? Is anyone selling ice cream bars (preferably with CM Punk’s face on them)? “A Maryland couple are up against the hefty cost of adoption, while a family based in North Carolina deal with being apart for half the year while dad works a fishing job in Florida.” That’s more like it. Again, this doesn’t appear like a difficult decision.
MasterChef (Fox, 8 p.m): In “Cinnamon Roll-er Coaster,” MasterChef asks the important question: Why aren’t cinnamon rolls a more popular breakfast food? Did the Cinnabon phenomenon bastardize it? Hopefully the remaining 20 competitors get to the bottom of this.
