Turns out, you won’t have to stand in line to see Doctor Strange just to finally lay eyes on a new Wonder Woman trailer. Warner Bros. has released the latest preview of the much-anticipated film, which sees Diana (Gal Gadot) ready to save humanity from itself. That’s the sacred duty of the Amazons, it seems, and she starts by stopping bullets that were meant for Steve Trevor (Chris Pine). He doesn’t seem to understand how much better equipped she is for battle than anyone else in his brigade or platoon or whatever, but he gets the picture when she confronts a whole infantry line on her own. Is this what has Joss Whedon grudgingly singing Patty Jenkins’ praises? And can it be June 9, 2017 already? That’s the release date, and while we hate to cut Cubs fans’ celebration short, we wish it were much closer.
