NBC puts The Paul Reiser Show out of its misery
Citing factors such as “record-low ratings” and “the involuntary seething hatred of the people,” NBC has canceled The Paul Reiser Show after only two episodes. According to Deadline, NBC execs were officially “reluctant” to let it go, but felt they “had to replace” it with repeats of The Office to protect that show; unofficially, however, they also said that the current, post-Jeff Zucker regime had inherited “nothing but shit” in terms of new programs, of which The Paul Reiser Show was one. To put its swift dismissal into perspective, The Paul Reiser Show was outlasted by Fish Police. What’s Fish Police? Exactly.
