Woody vs. American Apparel
We have our April Fools' detectors cranked pretty high here in Newswire-land, but this seems to be no joke. Skeevy cotton purveyors American Apparel apparently mistook Woody Allen for an emaciated hipster and used his likeness on billboards in New York and Hollywood. The billboards feature Allen dressed as a rabbi from Annie Hall, along with Hebrew text meaning "the holy rebbe." (You can see the perplexing ad here.)
