Synopsis

Tim and Cathryn are a couple in their early 40's. They haven't really gotten anywhere in life - no career, no college, no direction, no ambition and no kids... And now that the biological clock is ticking they have decided that the most important thing for them is to have a baby. Something that they, like many other couples their age, discover is harder than they imagined. After months of trying with no luck, they go to a fertility specialist who suggests they go the IVF route. However, it is going to cost them $25K per insemination. Since this is way out of their financial range they have to go back to the drawing board, doing it the old fashion way. Flash forward to a month later - desperation has set in... Tim has performance problems and he is missing the romance and intimacy, whilst all Cathryn can think about is ovulation charts and babies. Tim then comes up with an ingenious plan how he can raise the 25K for the IVF - he is going to drive the getaway car for some friends who are doing a bank job. As he watches his friends run towards the bank he gets a phone call from Cathryn who says he has to come home right away and make babies - she is ovulating and they only have a 30 minute window to do it otherwise they'll have to wait another month. Tim now has a tough decision on his hands - should he drop everything and leave his friends to their fate and try to make it home in time to fertilize Cathryn? Or should he stay and wait for his friends to finish the bank robbery and drive the getaway car and disappoint his beloved? He gets the feeling that whatever he does, it's going to go straight to hell, and that is exactly what it does.
