Andrew W.K.'s Fresh + Sexy Wipes

At SXSW this past March, party enthusiast Andrew W.K. was introduced as the spokesman for Playtex’s new line of post-sex clean-up tools, the Fresh + Sexy Wipes. The company put W.K. in charge of a number of theoretically sexy events down in Austin, from running a “confession booth” to headlining some sort of “Black Booth Confessional Party.” Around that same time, I got an e-mail from W.K.’s publicist about how certain journalists would be getting a special package from Playtex curated by W.K. and focusing on the five sexy, sensual senses. I, of course, turned around and immediately requested one of those boxes.

Fast-forward a few months, and lo and behold, the package arrived, along with the third or fourth promotional box of Fresh + Sexy Wipes I’d received by that point. The contents were actually pretty high-end and included some neat stuff, so I promptly hid them in a drawer (having a mountain of post-sex wipes on my desk doesn’t exactly encourage the kind of workplace conversations I’d like to be having) and then pulled them out for this week’s episode of Mailbag.
