Synopsis
In rural pre-WWI France, the aging general Saint-Pé calls for a family conference to discuss a perceived obscene love relation between his hunchbacked sister Ardéle and the family's house teacher. The gathering unveils the colorfulness and double standards of the apparently more respectable marriages of the general himself and of his other sister, countess Liliane. TV adaptation of Anouilh's 1948 black comedy.
