Catching the Breeze

In the 1930s, the young musician known as Wang Luobin, leaves his home Beiping and travels to the West in order to collect folk songs. Once he meets a young girl Wu Duomei, whom he is deeply impressed by. The most beautiful folk songs of the North West are waiting to be discovered by Wang Luobin. The film uses his song "The half moon rising" as its theme song and describes the beautiful "love at first sight" story between two people.
