The Owl's Tale

An owl meets a dove in a break of crepuscule, entering the territory that he knows he doesn't belong to. In this unknown universe of sound/image, two worlds always seem to collide; Cassette tape hiss/wanderer, vodou ritual/new morning, and funeral/fisherman's boat. Freely inspired by a Haitian fable of the same title, 'The Owl's Tale' discreetly traces a short chapter of Mackenson, a Haitian immigrant who finds himself in the social context of post-haitian-immigratory-wave in the contemporary Brazil.
