As reported by MTV, Leonardo DiCaprio—who apparently didn't get enough of playing a less-than-charming eccentric from 20th-century history in The Aviator—will star as J. Edgar Hoover in an upcoming biopic. With the working titled Hoover and a tentative release date of 2012, the film will illustrate the life and times of the iconic, crossdressing, power-abusing FBI director. Also onboard: director Clint Eastwood and screenwriter Dustin Lance Black of Milk. If you've ever wanted to see DiCaprio decked out in flounces and lace, here's your chance.
