Michael Jackson's doctor found guilty of involuntary manslaughter

The near-daily, exponentially depressing parade of autopsy photos and slurred tape recordings that tracked Michael Jackson’s slow drowning in an ocean of sedatives has ended at last, as a jury has found Jackson’s physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, guilty of involuntary manslaughter by way of criminal negligence. Their decision brings the curtain down on six weeks of sad testimony, as well as over two years of looking for someone to blame for Jackson’s death. As far as California law is concerned, that person is Murray, who will now face sentencing on Nov. 29 and could be handed up to four years in jail.
