The trailer for holiday horror Better Watch Out is like Home Alone on steroids 

The Christmas slasher movie Better Watch Out—which played at last year’s Fantastic Fest under the title of Safe Neighborhood—is as all-American as they come, which is weird, because it was made in Australia. The film takes the basic idea behind Home Alone and crosses it with a home-invasion thriller like Michael Haneke’s Funny Games, with some savagely hilarious results. To say much more would spoil the twist-filled plot of the film, so we’ll just say that Better Watch Out hits theaters an VOD on October 6.
