It’s been a while since “Single Ladies” stormed the pop-culture consciousness, but Beyoncé proves she still knows her way around a buzzworthy music video with the new clip for “Countdown,” which has the Internet collectively swooning (and wondering what the hell a “boof” is). The standout song from the recent 4 gets the gently retro, slightly silly clip it deserves, featuring Bey making her way through a litany of ’60s-referencing hair and clothing styles as she mugs for the camera, dances, and of course, reminds us once again that yes, she is pregnant.
