You may have neglected to consider that Britney Spears didn't like Breaking Bad's finale
The past nine days spent discussing Breaking Bad in such a way that it maximizes SEO has so far yielded Miley Cyrus’ critical opinion (“There’s just a lot of him coughing”), plus various other things that are perhaps not as well-considered or important. But until now, we’ve neglected to ask ourselves what Britney Spears thought of the finale, so that we could put both Breaking Bad and Britney Spears in a headline and, having done a man’s job, stagger into the sea to die.
Fortunately, New York’s Z100 (“All of the hits, all of the questions we just thought of a second ago”) stepped up for everyone by asking Britney’s opinion on the conclusion to the story of another innocent corrupted by greed and (allegedly) meth, who shaves their head and begins luring others to the desert for their own selfish purposes. And, while she was a “huge fan” of the show and also of saying “bitch,” it turns out Britney was not so fond of the ending:
“I thought it was really sad," she said when asked if she bid farewell to Breaking Bad Sunday, Sept. 29. "I didn't like it at all. I didn't think he should have died…maybe they'll do another episode where the ambulance comes and revives him."
Britney also hopes they’ll do another episode of The Shield, where it turns out everything that happened was just an elaborate ruse to set up a fun surprise party for Vic Mackey, where all his friends are there with sandwiches and soda. The good kind, not the generic kind. Generic soda would be sad.
