Drive is a really violent movie, but it doesn't hold a candle to Sin City in terms of dark, soul-crushing face-smashing; there's something about the cartoonish nature of Sin City that puts it over the top. But now there's a fan-made animated tribute to Drive that, while only a minute long, demonstrates that Ryan Gosling's character is somehow even more menacing when artfully sketched. (And the soundtrack still works wonders.) I'd definitely watch the hell out of a full-length version of this film, in all its cartoonish gory glory.
