Today in airline entertainment news

Iron Maiden singer Bruce Dickinson, as we all know, is a licensed commercial airline pilot–remember when he airlifted those 200 refugees from Beirut? Well, he's going one step further: He's personally flying the 757 that will take Iron Maiden and crew to the first 20 stops of their 2008 world tour. Even better: The plane will be customized with a giant Eddie mural. Too bad it's not the cover of the "Aces High" single.

According to USA Today, CBS and Fox have started streaming the pilots of their new shows on American Airlines flights in advance of their broadcast debuts. This month's offerings: Big Bang Theory, Cane, K-Ville, and Nashville. Why didn't ABC think of this in time for the pilot of Lost?

And finally: Last night's "cooking on a parked jet" episode of Top Chef totally sucked. Except, that is, for Anthony Bourdain's creepy crack about Brian's lobster having "the texture of doll head."
