Donald Trump’s presidential bid is the comedic gift that keeps on giving. First, there was the exultation of The Daily Show staff upon hearing his official announcement. Then, Neil Young let the overgrown oompa-loompa-looking jagoff know that Trump 2016 is not welcome to the use of his music. Additionally, there is Stephen Colbert’s “Shut Up, Dummy!” campaign in which he devolves into non sequiturs in his best impression of the laboratory-coiffed man of many words (most of them incomprehensible). Now comes another reaction to Trump’s announcement, this one from comedy troupe Above Average who transforms the Donald’s idiotic speech into perfect slam poetry, with the refrain “Our country is in seeeeeeerious trouble.”
