Goodbye Doesn't Mean Forever

The pilot for a proposed series based on the 1977 motion picture "The Goodbye Girl." The story, set in New York City, focuses on the relationship between Paula McFadden, a beautiful single mother and aspiring dancer, and Elliott Garfield, a struggling actor with whom she shares an apartment. The two attempt to share the apartment and live with each other's differing values.
