Synopsis

While visiting their home village of Kapasseni, two Mozambiquan refugees - and now Canadian citizens - hear a plea from the village chief, who asks for help in rebuilding the local school. Upon returning to Canada, Joseph and Perpetua Alfazema organize a successful grass-roots fund raising effort. Joined by several Canadian friends, Joseph and Perpetua travel back to Mozambique. For all of the travelers, the journey becomes the experience of a lifetime.
