Though Megan Fox and Michael Bay parted ways over a clash between Fox’s burgeoning feminist empowerment and Michael Bay’s bulging chauvinist insistence on making her bend over stuff, they soon realized that some things are bigger than such petty personal politics. For example, the chance to make more easy toy movie money, which is why Bay proudly welcomed Fox back to “the family” as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ April O’Neil, the intrepid reporter with a nose and seductively arched back for news.

Now we can see the first glimpses of their heartwarming family reunion in the first leaked images, in which Megan Fox bounces up and down on a trampoline—a clear indicator that Bay no longer sees her as mere set dressing to be draped over the nearest automobile, but an actress capable of giving dynamic, buoyant performances that will lift a film and then bring it back down again, over and over, oh yeah, just like that. Truly, theirs is a relationship of mutual professional respect.
