Tested has posted another episode of Adam Savage’s One Day Builds, and it’s a nifty one. Clocking in at over an hour, the video of Savage’s latest build sees the Mythbusters star joined Aaron Douglas, Battlestar Galactica’s Chief Tyrol. They spend the time assembling Cylon and Raider model kits, with Savage lending his typically detailed eye to some impressive custom paint jobs. While they work, Douglas shares his memories of Battlestar Galactica and its fan conventions, and there’s a mockumentary about Tyrol’s adventures in Scotland, based on Aaron’s real-life whisky tour of the Isle. The duo also trot out their best Colonel Tigh impressions.
The model kits come out beautifully, although the most magnificent item in the video might be Douglas’ Chief Tyrol vs. Family Guy Chicken T-Shirt.
