Synopsis
On July 15, 1994, the Capes arrived home to spend the afternoon with family and friends. Within a matter of moments, everything changed. At just 9 years of age, Heather's life would be interrupted by uncontrollable seizures. The diagnosis of two rare diseases and a rare seizure disorder would rob her of having any quality of life. Throughout the next 25 years, Heather would face countless health needs, hospital stays, treatments, surgeries, and would be critically ill many times. After searching to find answers, the Cape family would be forced to make a crucial and potentially fatal decision.
