Synopsis
TV adaptation of Chekhov's 1901 classic about three daughters (Astrid Villaume, Annegrethe Nissen and Malene Schwartz) of a recently passed away Russian colonel. The three sisters and their brother (Søren Elung Jensen) live in a remote provincial town where their father commanded the local army post. They dream of going back to Moscow and rewriting their own story, but are saddled with the practicalities of their quiet existence. Then tragedy strikes, the army post is to be withdrawn from the town. How can they keep up their life's purpose and hope?
