Jagged Little Pill reissue to celebrate 20 years of irony

Unlike ra-eee-ain on your wedding day, there’s nothing ironic about Alanis Morissette putting out a special edition of Jagged Little Pill this October to celebrate the album’s 20th anniversary. That’s because this year is the 20th anniversary of the release of Jagged Little Pill, so there’s literally nothing ironic about this unless it includes a free ride when you’ve already paid or 10,000 spoons when all you need is a knife. Or maybe you’re driving to the record store to buy a copy of the reissue, and you’re running late, and then there’s a traffic jam. Or, better yet, you’re 98-years old, Alanis Morissette reissues Jagged Little Pill, and then you die the next day. That would be ironic.
