Liam Gallagher can't believe Radiohead wrote a song about a tree
Liam Gallagher gave a typically contentious interview to The Quietus by way of luring listeners in to his forthcoming, post-Oasis debut as Beady Eye, and it serves as further reminder that he and brother Noel could pretty much just stop making records and commit themselves to doing press full time and we’d be okay with that. (In fact, we've got our own Liam Gallagher interview going up next week, so look for that.) For instance, he describes the circumstances leading up to Oasis’ split as “Noel was acting like a fucking woman, like a bitch, and I was acting like a dickhead,” adding, “His mates are more important than his brother or his fucking band so fuck him.” And on what it’s like staring another band, he says, “Once we’re outta here and back in that rehearsal room, we’re like everybody else except we’re that little bit fucking cooler, man.” And so on. As usual, it’s a good read.
