Since his release from prison (and aside from a brief detour into elegant stripper-bedecked parties), Lil Wayne has gotten right back to the business of being Lil Wayne, releasing the “Day-O”-sampling single “6’7” and introducing “Real Gs move in silence like lasagna” to the exciting world of similes, all to make sure his name is still out there on the streets. Apparently, he didn’t have to worry about that: Newark cops recently hauled in 500 bricks of heroin stamped “Lil Wayne,” proving that his branding is strong as ever.
