President Supervillain pairs Trump quotes with his fictional comic Nazi counterpart

It’s well established by now that our president speaks like a silver age comic villain. His long-winded pomposity, false grandiosity, and the limited, repetitious vocabulary are all hallmarks of a man who, by rights, should do most of his speechifying in front of a massive banner of the globe with a dagger pierced through it. So much so, in fact, that our buffalo wing golem president’s menacing, self-congratulatory proclamations have already been incorporated into comic book covers.

But just because you can’t draw is no reason to be left out of the fun. The Twitter account President Supervillain pairs real Trump quotes with images of Marvel’s fictional deformed Nazi counterpart, Red Skull.

It’s low-effort, high-yield stuff. An easy joke, maybe, but having the Red Skull preparing to toss a giant comic book bomb at Captain America while insisting, “I’m really not a bad person, by the way!” is no less delightful for it. As it is, it would take a minimal amount of effort to retcon the Red Skull’s origin story as his scarred and cratered visage having been brought about as the consequence of overzealous spray-tanning.
