Throughout her nearly year-long tenure at The View, Rosie O'Donnell has grabbed pop cultural discourse by the throat and yanked it in some interesting directions by bringing up hot-button issues like:

"Is Kelly Ripa homophobic?"

"Are the American Idol judges too mean to the awful, showboating contestants who audition for their show?"

"Is Elisabeth Hasselback annoying and wrong about everything?"

"Was Danny DeVito drunk that time?"

"Will people be offended by use of the phrase 'ching chong'?"

"Should Donald Trump be considered a moral compass?"

And "Is Donald Trump a jerk?"

The answer, of course, to all these questions is, "Duh."

But today a nation learned that Rosie O'Donnell won't be around to say "Duh" to anymore. That's right: Rosie is leaving The View. A clip of Rosie threatening the viewing public with hour-long inversion therapy specials while Barbara Walters can barely contain her seething anger follows:
