Ghosts and demons are pretty spooky, but they’re not quite as spooky as a man demanding that you take your pants off so he can summon ghosts and demons. This trailer for A Dark Song doesn’t necessarily emphasize creepy men over creepy creatures, but it does make a point to underline the fact that its paranormal expert character is bit off-putting. The movie is about a woman hoping to bring her dead child back to life, and doing so requires her and to welcome a weirdo occultist into her home so he can perform a series of rituals. This being a horror movie, it seems safe to assume that things aren’t going to go very smoothly.
A Dark Song was directed by Liam Gavin, and it will be in theaters and on-demand services on April 28.
