In the Amazon series Tin Star, Tim Roth plays a cop who moves to a small town in hopes of a peaceful life. Unfortunately, he’s living in a gritty drama show, and a seemingly evil oil refinery is looking to do some bad stuff in his formerly quiet town. This trailer makes it look like he’s not particularly innocent himself, though, so the evil oil people might be facing a little more than they bargained for. Tin Star also features Christina Hendricks, playing an employee of the oil company, who is (possibly begrudgingly) tasked with making life a bit more unpleasant for Tim Roth.
Tin Star comes from writer Rowan Joffé (28 Weeks Later), and it will premiere on Amazon Prime on September 29.
