Clams Casino releases his third and final Instrumental Mixtape that you can download right now

The end of the year is approaching, which means it’s time for another mixtape from Clams Casino, the producer whose soundscapes are to hip-hop artists like A$AP Rocky and Mac Miller what breadcrumbs and bacon are to his shellfish namesake. Following up 2011’s Instrumental Mixtape and 2012’s Instrumental Mixtape 2 (which made this writer’s top albums list, at least), Instrumental Mixtape 3 is being billed as the “final” one of the series—which hopefully means Clams will at last get around to concentrating on a proper, full-length follow-up to his Rainforest EP.

In the meantime, we’ll more than make do with another year-in-review assemblage of beats and blasted electronics, beginning with the Grand Theft Auto V-featured “Crystals” (heard below), and continuing through a dozen other, equally inventive tracks—some of them seeing release for the very first time.
