In her intimate portrait, author and director Fitore Muzaqi accompanies an extraordinary couple who have been fully committed to art for over 20 years: Bernd (64), the relentless sand artist, and his wife Hella (56), "mental sparring partner" and first critic of his works. The film observes the lives of the protagonists over three years, illuminating their symbiotic and highly complex relationship. Bernd finds it increasingly difficult to create his extraordinary art, because the left side of his body has been paralyzed since he had a stroke. Hella must therefore increasingly take on the role of a mental, but also physical supporter. How do they manage to fulfil their greatest dream - a sculpture park on 7000 sqm2 that is to be a place of inspiration and freedom for people from the city and the country?
