With our remaining pop-culture icons (hopefully) moved into a death-proof bunker in an undisclosed location deep beneath the Earth’s surface, it’s time to say goodbye to the year so brutal, we decided to anthropomorphize it so we could yell at it like a bad dog who pooped on the rug. 2017 will more than likely be its own special kind of nightmare, so for the next couple of days The A.V. Club will be resting up and preparing for battle, like Alice suiting up to fight Freddy Krueger at the end of A Nightmare On Elm Street 4.
