In Marvel comics, Iron Fist and Luke Cage are famous best friends who run a superhero business together in Harlem, but nobody really gets along with Finn Jones’ version of Iron Fist on Netflix’s Marvel shows. The Defenders team-up miniseries tried to make Iron Fist a bit more likable, but there’s still a lot of work to do before Netflix can make him as cool or interesting as the other heroes. With a second season of Iron Fist coming at some point in the future, it looks like Netflix is going to try and remedy that problem a little early by bringing Jones’ Iron Fist to season two of Luke Cage—which will premiere before Iron Fist, though we don’t know exactly when.
