USA renews White Collar for another suit-filled season
USA has ordered another 16 episodes of White Collar, its typically breezy series involving elaborate con-man capers and lots and lots of suits. So many suits, in all sorts of surprising colors and cuts that you’ll never see coming. USA, of course, loves men in sharp suits so much that it actually has a show that it just calls Suits, which it also recently renewed for a second season—but we digress. While failing to mention what suits you can expect, the press release for White Collar’s renewal does make use of the word “bromance” when describing the central relationship between Matt Bomer’s charming grifter and Tim DeKay’s FBI agent, yet our in-house White Collar reviewer Kenny Herzog would no doubt remind you that the show is much, much better than that makes it sound. Anyway, if you weren’t among the 5.7 million people who discovered that for themselves during this summer’s most recent round of episodes, you now have until January to catch up, when the show resumes the second half of its third season and then begins picking out the suits for its fourth.
