Yep, Marvel has the rights to Daredevil again

The long, protracted tussle over who gets to try rebooting Daredevil has ended, with Kevin Feige confirming to Newsarama that the rights have indeed reverted back to Disney/Marvel, much as everyone expected them to last year. That was around the time Fox gave up on its last-ditch attempt to make a new, Affleck-free start on the would-be franchise, choosing to let their hold on it expire rather than gamble on Joe Carnahan’s violent, Serpico-influenced take. With Daredevil back in the Disney/Marvel fold, it’s now entirely possible that the character could get a second chance as part of Marvel’s Phase Three, or maybe even turn up in the superhero legal procedural you just know someone like David E. Kelley has been pitching for the past few years—though obviously, nothing has been announced yet. In somewhat-related news, no one is fighting over the rights to Elektra. You can probably have them, if you want.
