We all like Donald Glover around here, right? Community’s great, he seems like a nice dude, and that whole rapping thing seems to be going pretty well for him. What’s not to like? In fact, the only person who doesn’t seem to like Glover is Childish Gambino—Glover’s MC alter ego—who seems less than thrilled to be interviewed by his surprisingly antagonistic doppelganger in this video, which plays out like a much darker, more resentful episode of Troy And Abed In The Morning. Apparently Glover isn’t a huge fan of Gambino’s upcoming album Camp (“Why do you rap like shit?”), which seems a little self-defeating, but hey, everyone’s entitled to an opinion. You can form your own opinion of Camp by streaming it in its entirety over on NPR’s website so that you can be prepared to register your opinion when we share ours next week, when we’ll be posting a Camp review—so everyone who’s been bitching in the comments that we haven’t reviewed it yet, mark your calendars!
