Synopsis

A film about leftist lawyer Andreas Beuth. Legal actions for the maintenance of the construction trailer site Bambule or against Hamburg's former Secretary of Inner Affairs, Ronald Schill, have earned him a well-known reputation far beyond the borders of Hamburg. Since many years, Andreas Beuth is passionately committed against injustice, while his heart beats for Hamburg football club FC St. Pauli, German singer Rio Reiser and his big love. His multifaceted life has always been characterized by his strong commitment and his free-spirited performances as lawyer. This intelligent man with his trademark black leather cap, that he only takes off when being in the court, tells of his life and his pleasures. The chain-smoking lawyer is also well-respected by his so-called political opponents.
