Synopsis
Humor, especially British humor, isn't always entertaining. Many times it is bitter, dry, dramatic, political, politically unorthodox, subversive, offensive, emotional, irrational and not necessarily funny. Comedians, standing up in a room full of strangers and basically creating a show out of words, improvisations and nothing else, can be characterized by someone sane as either incredibly brave or just show-offs. In the end, the audience that comes to this show knowing beforehand that it demands and pays to laugh, is the strictest judge and the most willing lover, both at the same time. Does humor travel? And if it does, what language does it speak? And if it has a language, what is its nationality?
