Reality TV contestant gets kicked off show for punching a horse in the face

In an unprecedented bit of reality TV stupidity–and that's saying a lot–a contestant on the History Channel's Full Metal Jousting was thrown off the show for punching his horse in the face, marking a new low in what has already been a rough week for TV horses.

27-year-old Landon Morris, who has supposedly been riding horses since private school, socked the gentle equine giant after it allegedly stepped on his foot. Morris was immediately reprimanded by his coach Rod Walker, who called it "one of the stupidest things I've ever seen." Morris, however, saw nothing wrong with his behavior, claiming he "did it for the right reason." Hey, it worked for Mongo. [via Reality Blurred]
