If you have yet to catch VD, don’t worry: You’ll have at least another season to do so now that The CW has given early renewals to nearly all of its primetime shows, including The Vampire Diaries, Gossip Girl, 90210, Supernatural, and America’s Next Top Model, all of which is good news for fans of pretty people and their occasionally paranormal problems. Noticeably absent from the list (besides the departing Smallville) is the increasingly surreal soap opera One Tree Hill, which is now officially “on the bubble,” as they say, along with the freshmen series Nikita and Hellcats. Begin prepping your cheerleader/assassin flash mobs.
