Synopsis

Vocalist, Trumpeter, Songwriter, and Music Arranger. The Bronx native's musical career as a trumpeter began at age 14 performing with the Capers Quartet, recording several records with Roulette and V.J. Records. Johnny once changed his name to Jonathan Capree and released the single, Gonna Build Me A Mountain Way Up High in the1960's. The song has been recently rediscovered and has been playing in clubs in the UK. The documentary follows Johnny in his venture to reclaim the rights to his music.
